Why do you want to become a staff member on TitanRP: Personally, I miss playing gmod. I found this the perfect opportunity to be able to come back to it as a bunch of my old friends are coming to this server. When I play gmod I tend to just run around, as I am a PVE player. When I was a staff member I found that I had more to do and got more time to enjoy the game. I want to be able to give the new members the same experience I received when joining this community. I would spend the free time I have on this server, being able to be helpful and make our server enjoyable. I’m active in ooc, voice chat and discord. Therefore people know my voice and how I am.
List why you are capable of becoming staff on TitanRP:
Non-Bias I find that a lot of staff members will be biased towards players. For me as a staff member I would never be biased as it is unfair to others. If a staff member is biased to the victim, the player at fault is most likely going to be found guilty even if they are not and vice versa. If a staff member is biased to the player at fault they will most likely only get out with a warning instead of the proper punishment and the victim is left with nothing and possibly lost items. I am able to be unbiased and I won't let my relationships with players on the server affect my decisions for an outcome of a SIT. As well as, being able to express my honest opinions without being influenced by other people.
Friendly being called to the SIT room is not a fun experience as it takes away playtime and you're stuck in this process. During my SITs I would try to bring joy and be interactive with the people, making it not boring and more enjoyable for both parties. I know a lot of people on cosmic would hope I’d take their SITs considering I would make it more fun and we could share a couple laughs.
Familiar Face as mentioned before since I played on cosmic I know a vast majority of the community. I would be known by many people and they would know how my staffing is since I took I’m pretty sure over 700 SITs on that server.
Power trips a lot of staff tend to get power hungry. Banning and muting innocent players. I've experienced this (as we all know on cosmic Anthony muted and demoted me) and it wasn't fun for me. Personally I don't get power hungry and will not go on power trips.
Welcoming as staff member you should welcome members and show them that the community is welcoming and is not toxic. This will want the player to come back to our server and enjoy it more as our community is friendly unlike most DarkRP servers.
Activity as of right now due to school and work and IRL stuff, I will only be able to play 2-3 hours on the server. With summer fast approaching I'll be able to spend closer to 5-6 hours on the server every night, i'll play until reset if needed. I mention this because I know a lot of staff tend to go offline during these hours and most players like to break rules considering staff is AFK or inactive. I'll be able to play until 12am - 6am CST actively and be communicative with people. Being able to take SITs and helping new players who live in different time zones.
List skills that will help you carry out staff duties:
Problem Solving is a huge skill every staff member needs. You're put into situations that always need an outcome, sometimes players will not like the choice you make. You need to be able to find a solution to a problem that will have both members happy. Sometimes you'll have no evidence and need to work off logs, and if logs give you nothing sadly you'll have to let them go. If they have no evidence but they have proof in logs then you'll have to give them the proper punishment.
Previous staff member as I’ve staffed before on a DarkRP server before I know what to do. I was staff for around 4 months before I quit, I know my way around commands and keybinds. I know how to work logs and handle staff situations. I’m aware how most jobs work and would be able to help new players out.
Difficult situations I can stay calm during situations that are frustrating. I find being calm during situations is really helpful as some SITs and people can be very frustrating and sometimes you just want to snap at them. So being able to stay calm will help me make my decisions based on facts over feelings.
Listening skills I'm a good listener, this could be helpful because I can point out things that I've heard during the SIT to help clear the situation. I can listen to both sides of a situation and make an accurate judgment based on what they tell me. Also, I will be able to catch people in a lie if they keep changing their story.
Toxicity I try not to be toxic, this community is fairly toxic and I find it unnecessary to add to the toxicity. I find that this is a good trait for staff because you're supposed to represent the server and the community. If you're toxic towards new players they most likely won't want to come back and it will frustrate experienced members making them less likely to report valid situations.
Fast Learner when it comes to training it's important to be a fast learner, with previous staff experience this will make my training fly by, and when it comes to promotions it will help make the process of training not take that long.
